Throughout his 40 year career, guitarist and songwriter Richie Blue’s blistering guitar playing and heart and soul vocals have taken him to his current status as one of the top drawing acts on the night club, casino and the festival circuit throughout North America, Canada and Mexico.

Raised in the great state of Washington Richie cut his teeth playing country Rock in popular northwest 70’s bands such as Boulder Creek , the Nashband, Greesewood City Ramblers and the Torpedos before settling in the San Francisco Bay Area back in 1981.

His stint with the Fabulous Beaumount Brothers featuring Amos Garrett brought attention to Richie’s own brand of “Twangin’ Blues” and he was soon playing clubs and festivals from San Jose to Sacramento and all points in between.

Richie has played his guitar with Norton Buffalo, Steve Miller, Kenny Loggins, Elvin Bishop, Terry Hank and the Soul Rockers, Texas featuring Doyle Bramhall II, Stu Blank, Jim Boggio and the Sonoma Swamp Dogs, The Dick Clark Oldies Road Show featuring Little Anthony, Bobby Rydel, Fabian, The Coasters, The platters and the Drifters!

Richie has been performing with his own band since 1993 gaining rave reviews! Richie has shared the stage with many great notables including, Albert King, BB King. Steve Miller, Delbert Mc Clinton, The Neville brothers, and many others!
